About this Martian Wine
The 2014 “Stellar” Viognier was a treat from the beginning. The fruit came to the winery with all the components a winemaker would want, with jasmine, spice and honeysuckle aromas filling the winery. With just 1.3 acres planted and less than 2 tons per acre havested, our Viognier is a rare treat and magnificient indeed!
Grilled shrimp with tarragon butter; New England clam chowder on a blustery evening; pan-seared scallops with mango salsa, ginger chicken with lime/honey marinade.
Aged for six months in Foudre barrels. Completed malaolactic fermentation.
