  • 2014 Stellar Viognier

    $22/bottle.  Whole cluster pressed; completed secondary/malolactic fermentation. Fresh and bright on the nose with hints of white peach, Asian spice, honeysuckle and lime marmalade aromas. There’s more to it than that, but taste for yourself. Chardonnay look out! Viognier is the fast rising star of the wine world.

  • 2014 Gravitas Tempranillo

    $35/bottle. Along with sister-grape Albarino, Tempranillo is the other Spanish grape variety grown at Martian Ranch. Wet gravel, bay leaf and rose petals aromas with hints of smoke and blueberry.  Dark red fruit flavors surrounded by firm tannins and a long finish. Enjoy with Portobello mushrooms with carmelized onion confit, or oak-grilled hanger steak with rosemary compound butter.

  • 2014 Mothership Grenache Blanc

    $22/bottle.  Whole cluster pressed and aged six months in Foudre barrels. Bright citrus aromas greet the nose with hints of lemongrass and quartz adding complexity. Texturally it is really quite lovely; it’s bright, clear and moderately tense with a hint of white peach and bright citrus.

  • 2014 Dark Energy Syrah

    $30/bottle.  Whole cluster fermentation. This wine opens with bold blueberry and blackberry on the nose followed by cracked pepper and finishes with hints of black licorice palate. If you can be savory and tough at the same time, this wine has achieved it.

  • 2014 Uforic Albariño

    $22/bottle. Along with sister-grape Tempranillo, Albariño is one of two Spanish varieties grown at Martian Ranch. Tropical flower and fruit aromas with zesty citrus on the palate. Gently crushed before pressing then aged in Foudre barrels. It’s bright on entry with a spicy early impression that morphs into something more fruit driven and attractively refreshing on the palate.

  • 2013 Chenin Blanc Chenin Blanc

    $24/bottle.  A Granny Smith apple and a nice green plum on the nose are followed by melon, orange blossom and Clementine (leave it to the Mandarins). We finally head for a clean finish with a delicate mineral hint of flint.

    $28/bottle. Hints of game and sweet tobacco on the nose with blackberry, cassis and hints of lavender on the palate.

  • 2014 Radiant Cabernet Franc

    $30/bottle. This wine shows vibrant chocolate and black cherries that jump out at you, with pleasantly leafy sous bois (forest floor) notes appearing after a little air. Pair with braised short ribs in  chipotle gravy, Morel mushroom risotto or seared King salmon with red lentils.  Our Cabernet Franc is well-balanced and smooth with good complexity and a long, lingering finish.

    $20/bottle. 100% Mourvèdre. Crisp cherry and kiwi aromas, followed by flavors of Bing Cherry and watermelon. Pair with your favorite picnic cuisine such as ham and smoked Gouda Panini or Manchego and fig bruschetta with rosemary roasted chicken

  • 2014 Absolute Magnitude Gamay Noir

    $24/bottle.  The first grape of the season to harvest, our Gamay is silky on the palate and low in tannins. This medium-bodied wine bursts with aromas of cherry and cranberry, which follow through on the palate along with sarsaparilla and cola notes, adding richness and spice. Pair with roasted quail with wild rice, smoked Virginia ham or duck confit. Produced via carbonic maceration in the style of Beaujolais nouveau, which adds creaminess to the finish.
